~~Greetings!~~

The name's JP and this is my journal.

I was born in a city called Wollongong in the state of New South Wales in Australia. Now though i live in a quiet but rapidly growing little town called Dapto. I like both places for their own merits, ie. I was born in Wollongong but have lived most of my life in Dapto.

Now although i Love my locales, i hate this country. Now don't get me wrong, Australia is a beautiful country and in many respects we have things better made than any other country. But i just can't stand living here for reasons i shall keep to myself. When i do move out of this country it will be to the UK where the Love of my life, Sarah lives.

Yes, I am in a long distance relationship and yes it is very strong. If you don't beleive that we can and do make things work then I don't want to hear it. We both know what we feel for each other and we both know that this is a Love that will never end.

I am a dork, geek, nerd, goth, gamer, loner, horny, nice-guy, crazy and insane. Sure these are all "labels" and to those people who do label then i would be somewhat of an oxymoron. So be it. If that's what it takes to be diffeent then i'm happy to have gotten off that easily. You can't label me. I'm proud of all that i am.

I have eclectic tastes in almost all respects. Which means i'm not picky either. From food to fetish and music to fashion. I like whatever appeals to me not because of the group it is in but because of my own personal tastes. I know what i like and i don't care if any of my likes "clash" with popular opinion. If my tastes and likes bother you then either keep your opinions to yourself or just don't bother reading. It's just depressing to have to suffer from such bigotry and ignorance. If you have an open mind then i welcome you as a friend.

Having said that, I guess I should say that I am bi-sexual. Yes, I like c*ck *chuckle* But considering my situation, i'll never get any *snicker*. In case you're wondering, I have been in relationships with both males and females. But all of that is irrelevant now that i have found my true Love.

As you can tell from my appearance, i'm not of Australian background. My ethnic background is; quarter Filipino, quarter Chinese, and half Spanish. I proudly take most of my looks from my Spanish side (My father's nationality). My mother's half Chinese and half Filipino. So voila you have me. You could say that that's where i get my eclectic nature.

I like to collect DVDs. My extensive collection contains a majority of anime. Titles include: DBZ, Gundam Wing, Hellsing, Berserk, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gasaraki, Robotech, Blood: The Last Vampire, Vampire Hunter D. I particularly like to collect my favorite T.V. series in seasonal box sets. Among them i have Star Trek: The Next Generation, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and X-Files. I also (obviously) have a large movie section of DVDs which i won't list here hehe.

I Love to read. I mostly read fantasy and sci-fi. But like all my tastes, i'll read anything that appeals to me. Some of my favorite authors are Terry Goodkind, Robin Hobb and Raymond E. Feist. Among reading novels I also read comics, trades and graphic novels. For a while i was into the Marvel and DC stuff but recently i've found an insatiable appetite for the DC\Vertigo stuff. For the uninitiated among you, the DC\Vertigo comics are a far cry from the normal comics you may be used to. They are dark and often morbid stories for the mature reader, with intellectual subtexts. They are basically very satisfying to read and make you think. To those of you who don't even read comics i urge you to read the DC\Vertigo ones, just take a peek and see what you think. You may find a new addiction bloom anew. =D
